Why I Built It

I wanted a way to know if my site was down—without using more expensive solutions. So I built httpscout. It checks your URLs. It tells you when they break. That’s it.

Try It. See If It Helps.

7-day free trial. No credit card. No weird limits. Just a clean way to know when something breaks.

FAQ

What is httpscout.io?

A tool to check your website’s availability and alert you when it goes down. Simple HTTP checks. No bloat.

Where is it hosted?

Torontom, Canada. And not AWS, GCP, or Azure. Still up when the big guys go down.

How often does it check?

Every 3, 2, or 1 minute depending on your plan.

Why not 30 seconds?

Too noisy, too costly. If it makes sense later, I’ll add it.

How do notifications work?

Slack, email, webhooks. SMS might come later if it’s useful.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account or email support. Your trial ends cleanly, no tricks.

What if I don’t upgrade?

Your sensors stop running. You won’t get alerts, but nothing breaks.

Who runs this?

Just one developer. I built httpscout because I needed it. Maybe you do too.
